*whew* That name is looooooong. But descriptive! Appletox is an exfoliant cream that contains apple polyphenols and other extracts to remove dead skin. It's like Pretty Feet & Hands...for your FACE. So awesome.
It's a white cream that feels ever so slightly grainy/scrubby. You simply scoop out a pea-size amount and apply all over your face- it will turn clear. Wait about a minute then rub (lightly! That's the only thing that throws me about facial massage- what I call massage is WAY to rough for faces.) It will roll up in beads and fall all over your bathroom counter into your sink. Presto! Splash on some water to make sure it's all rinsed and follow up with whatever is next in the skincare lineup.
Lest you think it is just the product solidifying into boogers and you're a sucker for cute, appley packaging...the blobs of product will be greige! Yeah- *blech.* If that's not enough evidence, try it out on, say, your significant other's stoopid sunburn- omg way more gunk rolled off than from my clean face. It was truly, satisfyingly gross.
Bonus: green apple scent!
