Etude House Like20...

Well, my prayers have been answered! The Man helped me turn my thoughts around and see clearly again. Now I feel free to go on a bit about some material luxuries I'm totally digging right now!

Ok, so first, since I said I'd be giving more details on my Like20 love...I'm now on my second jar of finishing cream and went ahead and ordered a full size booster essence. I'll talk about the essence first...

Although the essences I've tried have been water-thin, this one is more of a gel. I'd already used it today before I thought to take a picture so here's a wonky look at the product on it's pump.

See? No drips! But the fun part is when you put one pump's worth on your face and it goes *ploosh* and liquefies. It spreads SO easily. Kind of fascinating actually. LOL. It has a slight, herbal-y scent (lavender?) which I do not like but it doesn't linger on my face.
Anyway, as I'd said in an earlier post, after getting a sample I decided I would need this when the weather started to change. Needless to say, it has and I do. The essence truly supplements the moisture of the finishing cream without adding another thick moisturizing product.

On to the cream! Wordy post, no pic, I know. But hey, this is a thick, white moisture cream. I'm sure you can use your imagination. This being my second jar I can reiterate that this is my favorite moisturizer EVERRRRRS. Srsly. It does exactly what, IMO, moisture cream should- it absorbs and moisturizes!  *gasp* No really, I've been so frustrated by creams that just sit there, coating my skin and having zero effect. (Lookin' at you Olay everything.) Bonus: it even works great under my makeup! No grease or pilling. AKA no lotion boogers, hooray!

Also, I re-tried the eye concentrate and the little flattened tube there is testament to my loving it now. My eyes just needed to get used to it, I guess because I don't have any more irritation from it. It has a very light, creamy, serum-y sort of texture. You wouldn't think such a thin product could do so well but, oh boy, yes. My lines are not nearly as noticeable and my eye area is a lot smoother. Like the booster and cream, it absorbs very quickly with no annoying after effects.

Along with my pore and acne regimen, these are working wonders on my complexion. Still working on the cobblestone texture (boo hiss!) but redness is greatly reduced so I can avoid wearing all over Baby Choux base or concealer. When my skin is rough, anything but MAC Studio Fix powder foundation looks baaaaaad, even with a good primer, so this is fantastic!

Speaking of acne, I currently have ONE small cyst and it's slowly shrinking. All thanks to Dr. Bragg, but I'll save that for another post!
